Our stuff at Lucky Guesthouse is pretty straightforward, but there are a couple of little things to keep in mind.

Keyless Entry

To access the building, use the electronic code provided. Please note: the door automatically locks after 60 seconds.

For your convenience, two blue keycards are available on the coat rack to your right. Hold a keycard to the outside faceplate and wait for the green light to enter.

Important:

Your access code and keycards are valid only during your reservation.
Access will be deactivated at 11:00 AM on your checkout day.
Please return both keycards to the coat rack before leaving. A $25 fee will be charged for any missing keycard.

Home Heating System

Your cabin is equipped with a Rinnai propane heating system. To adjust the temperature:

Increase: Press the up arrow.
Decrease: Press the down arrow.

Please do not adjust any other settings and do not turn the heater off. If you encounter any issues, please contact us at the number provided.

Water Heating The Rinnai on-demand water heater is preset to 120 degrees and requires no adjustments. Please note that it may take a minute or so for hot water to reach the tap after turning on the faucet.

Automated Shades/Remote Controlled

Overview

Remotes control our blackout shades. Please follow these instructions carefully to ensure proper operation and maintenance.

General Information

There are three (3) remotes to control the shades in the cabin, each labeled for specific areas.

Main Living Room

The two shades in the main living room will rise and lower simultaneously using the #1 remote.
When lowering the shades, use the stop button once the shades have reached the bottom of the windowsill to prevent them from descending to the lowest setting.

Bedroom

The two shades in the bedroom function similarly and are controlled by the #2 remote.
Again, use the stop button once the shades reach the bottom of the windowsill.

Kitchen

The kitchen shade operates independently and uses the #3 remote.
Please note: Do not close this shade completely to avoid the plants on the kitchen windowsill.

Standby Generator

To ensure your comfort during power outages, the cabin is equipped with a Generac 7.5KW standby generator. In the event of a power outage, the generator will automatically start within approximately 15 seconds. The transfer switch will then engage, restoring power to the cabin within 30 seconds.

Please note: Due to the high power demand, the electric cooktop stove will not function during a power outage. All other appliances and systems will operate as usual.

Internet Access

Free Wi-Fi is available at 50MBPS. The password is displayed on the table near the guestbook.

Enjoy streaming your favorite shows on the TV. Please note that you'll need to sign in to your accounts for services like Disney+, Netflix, Hulu, etc.
